Account data: First name, last name, email address, phone number, company name (optional). Collected during signup.
Payment data: Processed exclusively by Stripe Inc. (PCI DSS Level 1). We never access, store, or process full credit card numbers.
Usage data: Monitor configurations, incident logs, API calls. Necessary for service delivery.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info. Collected for security and performance.
3. Legal Basis (Art. 6 GDPR)
We process data based on: (a) contract performance (service delivery), (b) legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention), (c) consent (marketing communications), (d) legal obligation (tax, accounting).
4. How We Use Data

We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Backblaze (encrypted backups). We never sell personal data. No data is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Account data: retained while account is active + 30 days after cancellation. Monitoring data: 90 days rolling. Backups: encrypted, rotated within 90 days. Contact form submissions: 12 months.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact privacy@mystatuspage.com to exercise your rights. We respond within 30 days.
8. Data Location
All data is hosted in the European Union. Backups are stored encrypted in EU regions. Stripe may process payment data in the US under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
9. Security
TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, encrypted backups, access controls with MFA, regular security audits.
10. Cookies
We use only essential cookies (session, language preference). No tracking cookies. No third-party analytics.
11. Changes
We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days in advance.
